Missing home

It was my sister’s birthday today and this was the first time I wasn’t home to celebrate it :(

She had a mean Martha’s Cakes cake! I loved that! My mom said she left me some though, for when I come back in May, she’ll put it in the freezer! Haha! Anyway my family sent me these pics today of Kelly’s birthday cake blowing at home:

I miss them terribly! And look at my brother Toby, with his bandaged face! Apparently he fell and had to have that part of his face stitched. Ouch!

I never really felt that I was far away from home than this long weekend. I went out with Bong and JM on Friday night and we headed home early though. We went to this place called Eagles in Marco Polo Hotel, but it was more of a bar for older people I think. On Saturday I stayed home all day, did a bit of studying, then went out with Rex in the evening to Nautica (along Torres) then Urban Club as usual. I wasn’t feeling very well to start with, I ate 4 eggs– pork & beans + 2 scrambled eggs for brunch, then luncheon meat + 2 scrambled eggs for dinner! I felt like all the cholesterol was in my body and my chest felt so heavy. Then went we went out I only had a cosmo and a beer, but the next day I was feeling so sick with stomach pains and a pounding headache… anyway I just stayed home (Rex stayed here until today) until today and we just abused the wifi! Haha. I did a bit of studying. Feeling pretty ok now– I had more decent meals than I usually do eat when Rex was here. :)

Anyway I miss home so much. I miss my Mom’s warm, home-cooked meals, I’m sick and tired of all the crap food I’m eating here! I swear next time I go grocery shopping I’ll lose the canned goods and the eggs!!!
