Super south style

Last night I was up for some hard core partying at places like Club LAX in Mall of Asia, or the new Empire Superclub in Ortigas Home Depot. Well my friends (bo-ring!) either weren’t up for it, or were just caught up in something else so I really had no one to party with. Then fortunately Gerome sent me an IM if I wanted to hang out in this place in Laguna called CocoManggas (yes, sounds and looks so much like the one in Boracay) for some j*l*g* tripping! Wahahaha! (Inside joke)

The place was just a max 30 minute drive away from my house via the Filinvest then San Pedro exits. And wow I must say, the place was packed! It was a drinking place a la Tides/ Laiya/ Central in BF, PLUS a dance floor where everyone tried to fit just like sardines! Looks like it was a happening place in the area, there were no tables for us (so we squatted on a table and gained new friends), and there was even a bootyshaking contest at 1:30 where people were shouting: “Halikan mo na!” Wahahahaha! (Hindi man lang “Kiss, kiss!” eh no?) Super laughtrip with Gerome. They played old and new popular R&B but after 2 notes to the DJ I was finally able to get him to play “Where’s Your Head At”– then I was alive! Wala nga lang nag-react masyado sa song, hehe, not like if we play that up north!

… And for that I have to say San Pedro, Laguna has a nightlife! Not so bad after all! The crowd was mostly locals (including this PBB star’s sister and the Mayor’s daughter), but hey it doesn’t really matter if you just wanna have a good time :) Besides I need it after a stressful week– and for the 2 more last days of the month ahead!

I’m hurt and mad, because HB’s saying he now has a bad reputation with people in CP because of my stories. Wow. STRONG.

12:35 AM– Ok maybe you’ll say this gesture stinks of bitterness, but I FINALLY DELETED HB FROM MY FACEBOOK.

I found out earlier tonight that he’s dodging me now. Apparently, my friend S confronted him the day after my party about what happened between the both of us. She told him that he should just say it if he doesn’t like me back instead of keeping me hanging. (By the way, it’s gonna be exactly a year on the 29th!!!) That day, HB and me separately asked S if she wanted to go clubbing, and S asked HB if he was still coming knowing I was there. He backed out.

So, there. Oh, how stupid of me! I texted him pa last weekend asking to meet me for drinks. Had I known that he had that earlier conversation with S, I would never have done such a thing, after all the cold treatment!

Oh, looking back everything was so nice and flowery. Now everything’s complicated. How did it come to this, from me flying to Iloilo to deleting him from my Facebook in less than a year’s time? For now though, I need space away from him first AND I SHOULD NOT VIOLATE THAT!

Latest downloads: Monuments and Melodies, a 2-disc greatest hits album by Incubus. WHOA I just had to finish downloading that last night! All their popular songs in it. ***** (Five stars even if I haven’t listened to the entire album yet!) Hold On Tight by Hey Monday– new band I think, I see their videos often on Channel V. Catchy teen pop tunes. Mitchel Musso’s self-titled album. Haven’t heard about this guy before (apparently he’s 17, and is a regular on Hannah Montana), but the album’s carrier single “Hey” is on the iTunes Top 100. This guy sounds a lot like Teddy Geiger or a perkier Ben Jelen, but I think even better with his poprock songs that are actually quite nice. The Jonas Brothers have a new album! Lines, Vines, and Trying Times. The first single “Paranoid” is actually good, the typical catchy Jonas Brothers sound. The single of When Love Takes Over by David Guetta featuring Kelly Rowland. My new favorite dance song, it’s the next “Where’s Your Head At”! I recommend the extended mix version of the song, though the main mix is good in itself. Boom boom pow, The Black Eyed Peas are back with The E.N.D.! Expect another round of funky rap tunes. I can’t get enough of “Boom Boom Pow”. (I thought Fergie was pregnant, why don’t I see a tummy bulge? Hehe)

Defected In The House: Ibiza ‘09, a compilation of house tunes Ibiza style– not as funky as Hed Kandi though, but if you want raw, relaxing house music, try listening to this one. Just Dance, another dance compilation, but this time of popular songs’ dance versions– such as “Mad” by Ne-Yo, “Disturbia” by Rihanna, “I Know You Want Me (Calle Ocho)” by Pitbull, etc. There are some true dance hits on the CD too, and I particularly love “Infinity (Klaas Remix)” by Guru Josh Project. Download that track, seriously it’s another club hit in the making! Hed Kandi World Series Brazil– of course how can I ever go wrong with any Hed Kandi CD? This time it’s Brazil style! They really just couldn’t get “Everybody” by Rudenko and “Day N’ Night” by Kid Cudi vs. Crookers on every new compilation they release though. Hed Kandi The Mix: Spring 2009. Party haaaaaard! The 2 songs I mentioned earlier are on the CD again! Fantasy Ride by Ciara– hmm, I like her earlier albums better, but “Love Sex Magic” featuring JT is HOT! Coming To Terms by Carolina Liar. I only downloaded the album to listen to “Show Me What I’m Looking For”, but the album is actually not bad. Just don’t listen to these guys perform live. I saw them on Ellen, and boy was the front man’s singing all over the place! Scars And Souvenirs by Theory Of A Deadman. I haven’t listened to the entire CD but their songs are on the iTunes Top 100 so the songs are probably okay… In The City by Kevin Rudolf– rock and rap mix with his rock dance songs, complimented by features with the likes of Lil Wayne and Rick Ross. Hmmm, catchy. Last but not the least: Amanda Leigh by Mandy Moore. Probably her most boring album ever. Can someone tell me if she’s changed musical direction???

For some messed up reason, I texted HB, WHO I DELETED FROM MY YM, WHOSE NUMBER I DELETED FROM MY PHONE, WHO I’M OFFICIALLY NOT TALKING TO, if he was here again in Manila and if he wanted to meet up for drinks tonight in BF.

Wow. What. A. Move. Stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid! I should bang my head to the wall and get amnesia

He replied: “Yup! Sayang! May lakad na ako with non-CP friends.”

P.S. In fairness naman kasi, I wanted to clear things up and just ask for the closure I need. I don’t really feel good about the cold treatment– it’s always been heavy on the chest. He was also probably satisfied that I texted, when he thought I was mad at him. Actually, I feel much better right now that I was just able to put all that (and what Angeli told me that made me snap) behind me. I’m not getting any younger anyway, hay. I guess the confrontation will just have to wait!

Whoops

The whole time, I was very very careful not to do anything that would make you compare me to HER. The one who went for you, fought for you, then ignored you, and ended up slapping you when everything went haywire. The one whose entire story you shared with me before.

Of course I really wouldn’t slap you– but I’m starting to realize that I’m actually doing almost the same things she did. Grrrrr. I hope you think better of me though, for not being a bitch. I hope the cold treatment’s enough for you to think there’s something wrong.

What went wrong? Everything used to be well. We were never not in touch. We were important to each other. And I never would have thought that you’d “move on” from me. It’s just sad, especially looking back at where we already were before. Now that the circumstances allow for us to go back to the way we were (just not counting the distance), everything is much worse. Why? It’s as if we were never friends to begin with.

Hey, I can’t complain. I started the cold treatment. It’s just that I felt you’ve forgotten me. Oh, will I shave my head if I find out that I’m wrong.

2009 Travel

It’s nothing compared to my ‘06 – ‘08 travel bug and destinations, but for my busy life now this is something!

Boracay, September 11-13 (One big CP party of 20+!!!)

The second half of 2009 is definitely gonna be adventure-filled. So excited! :)
